It’s funny how the universe lines up just right sometimes…  There have been a few things I’ve wanted to write about lately but haven’t and then I was rolling with the big O…as in Oprah…and I knew then what tomorrow would bring.

It seems Flagler Beach missed out on the “Happiest Place to Live” award… but probably only by a couple barefeet I’m sure.

As I watched the reasons being stated for why San Luis Obisbo is such a happy place, I couldn’t help but think that my little beach paradise could give them a run for their money.  Sure we have issues with some folks true intentions and our ever expanding mosquito population, but for most people who aren’t trying to run a business, I feel I could say on their behalf that Flagler is awesome!  So when you cruise through town, smile to the folks around you, pick up a little runaway trash, think how can I make this place better thoughts, and be thankful you landed in the “Jewel of the East Coast.” Cheers.
