Peace walk for the People

A little over a year ago a man named Jigme Norbu embarked upon a 300 mile Walk for Tibet and was unfortunately struck and killed alongside the road in the Hammock.  To celebrate his life, commemorate his passing, and continue on his efforts to bring about peace in the world a small group of passionate humans are once again taking up in his footsteps.  They will start a walk in St. Augustine on Saturday morning and then take up again in Flagler at the spot his memorial rests.  This quiet remembrance will take place at 3:00 and end at the Hammock Wine & Cheese Shoppe.
