Flagler Spotlight: Sweet Pea…Vintage and Urban Findings

When your little town is only 6 miles wide it’s hard to not notice when there’s a new kid in town…

I’m stoked to announce December Flagler Spotlight

Sweet Pea is owned by lovely women named Doreen who refers to herself as the President of Findings…and finding she does.  Her little boutique is filled with items that I would love to own from stylish clothes to funky household goods, all picked up on her own personal treasure hunts that haven taken her from state to state, for the past 30 years.

But Sweet Pea is more than just a boutique filled with great goodies…Doreen is also inspired to give back to her community.  She and her husband are volunteers at MOAS in Daytona Beach and she has been the chair of the Halifax Art Festival for several years.  Being open only since October, she has already sponsored a shopping day in which she donated proceeds to the local Food Bank.  Sweet Pea will also be hosting a local artist each month, providing them wall space to display their talents.

But you don’t have to trust my impeccable taste when I tell you it’s a fun place to spend some of your hard earned money…you’ll just have to check it out for yourself!
