Spontaneous Tuesday…trip down memory lane.

Over the last several years I have strived to camouflage my lackluster writing by interviewing interesting folks I know…I started calling my little segments Flagler’s Finest and then later switched the name to Local Color.  I will probably change things up again soon depending on the wind, sleep deprivation,  I just can’t remember or perhaps because I am going on a diet– haha just checking to see if your paying attention.  Here are the cool people I spoke with and a little review of what they are up to now-

all the previous chats are linked to their names for your viewing pleasure…

Pam Morrow— Pam is still cruising around town making beautiful things- she’s no longer brewing coffee at the Beanery but instead changing the world and digging up dirt at the Flagler Beach Organic Community Garden she started this past year- if your interested get involved- she would love to have you 🙂

Mike Cianciulli— Still the man at Surfline… out writing me by truckloads of dictionaries…however, he did hook me up with a deal for all the Flagler Surf Starsfree 1 year premium membership – High Fives Chinch!

Sean Moylan— Loving Egypt in more ways than one- Sean fell in love and got married to a beautiful Egyptian woman and now has a son– he has also been a front line witness to the biggest protest in Egypt’s history…and currently waiting permission for his family to come home to Flagler Beach.

Hollie Mahoney— there’s not much to say except – Is there anyone out there who doesn’t love Hollie??

Josh Crews— The energy behind this post has resulted in forming “The Josh Crews Writing Project” facilitated by Flagler County Education Foundation which in two years has  contributed over $30,000.00 back to our Flagler County students in the form of Take Stock Scholarships, Teacher Grants and starting the Writing Project. …Amazing…

Joseph Pozzuoli— Continuing to design amazing buildings, Joseph also gave back to the community recently in his involvement with “Project Grace“– helping to dig a well and filter the water at the Hidden Trails Community Center in Daytona North, Bunnell.

Mark Woods— Mark is a legend…and he is also for hire as your personal mixologist- no event is too amazing for this guy to pull off as Fun Coast Bartending is taking the east coast by storm…and when I say storm,  I mean a Hurricane 🙂

So there’s just a small drop in the bucket of really cool folks I have the pleasure to know- How lucky am I- Cheers to you and your stories and maybe one day I’ll get the opportunity to chat with you.
