Description:
Join us for a day of music, storytelling, food, children’s activities, guided nature walks, nature and folklife themed exhibits and more! The event features two stages with numerous folk performances from renowned folk artists from all over Florida. Come aboard the Hurricane Queen, sponsored by IMERS, Inc. for acoustic cruises along the Intercoastal Waterway! (Additional donation suggested.) This one day event is in honor of Gamble Rogers, the famous folk singer who lost his life while attempting to rescue a fellow camper drowning at what was then called Flagler Beach State Park, now Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area. The event is open to all ages and will include music and storytelling preformed by artists many of which knew and preformed with Gamble throughout his career.
Fees: Entrance donation is $20 per vehicle up to eight passengers or $8 per person. Donation include entrance fee. Children under 6 are free. Tickets will be available in advance, please contact (386) 517-2088 for information. Credit Cards will not be accepted. For those individuals who only wish to visit the park, regular park entrance fees apply.
