Holiday in the Woods

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Faver-Dykes State Park will host a program called “Holiday in the Woods!” on Saturday, December 20, 2014 from Noon-3pm.
The staff at Faver-Dykes would like to spread the holiday cheer this season and invite you and your family to come make holiday arts and crafts at the park. Each participant will have the opportunity to make one take home project which will be painted shells, a reindeer boot-jack, or a pine cone ornament. Come early, bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the Park for the day.
Come and enjoy the holidays with us! The program will take place at the pavilion in the picnic area. Regular park entrance fees apply of $5 per vehicle, with up to eight people, or $4 for an individual occupant.

Directions: Take Interstate 95 to exit #298 which is US 1. Go north on US 1 for 300 yards and turn right on Faver-Dykes Road. Go 1.5 miles on Faver-Dykes Road to Faver-Dykes State Park.
