Monica Lynn James, art teacher at Flagler Palm Coast High School, describes how “Into the Wild” came to be:

The artists selected for the show are Kelly Kryspin, Taylor Max, Michael Spangler, Cheyenne Marquardt, and Jasmine Warren.  Each one of these special young artists is working on a portfolio of 20 pieces of artwork in an Advanced Placement course with Mr. Edson Beckett.  Their focus and drive to pursue a career in the arts is remarkable.  Into the Wild marks the beginning of their journey.
