Don’t miss this opportunity to hear, create and share poetry in a pristine natural setting. Let the majesty of Washington Oaks Gardens State Park inspire you with this unique event that brings poetry into Florida State Parks. Event activities include poetry readings and refreshments among the trees, creative poetry writing exercises, open mic poetry readings, and individual poetry readings on a walkabout through the gardens. Participants may wish to bring cameras, water, sunscreen, bug repellant, and walking shoes for the event. Participants will meet in the Events Field across from the main garden parking lot.
