As most of us know the laid back island life conveys the well known “I’ll get around to it” mentality partnered with some resistance to change, but as the new kids slip into town there is a refreshing energy in the air. Hopefully inspiring us to improve ourselves and learn that anyone bringing something tasty to the table only makes for a better party.
Justine Wintersmith might be one of the “new kids”, but you wouldn’t get that impression if you met her. Her networking skills have been in overdrive since she pulled into town and now it looks like her hard work will finally pay off. The first event in the series of Flagler Fine Arts Festivals is about to take place. Being held in Veterans Park every 3rd Sunday from 11-4, Justine will be hosting a juried art show featuring the best talent the area has to offer. She is currently taking applications for artists and holding a poster contest…For more information you can visit her website here: www.flaglerfineartfest.com
Flagler Beach’s local potter Johnny Seale will be representing his skills this Feb. 17 as one of the exhibitors.
So mark this on your Sunday walking map calendars..Cheers and see you there!
