For several years I have wanted to have a neighborhood Christmas Lights contest. For no other reason than wanting to motivate folks to cruise around town, check out decorations and maybe get to know your neighbors. First I thought it would be fun to have a south side versus north side…who has more spirit contest. But that would really be hard to make happen…at least to judge anyways. So instead this became the plan!
Flagler Beach’s first neighborhood Christmas Light Display contest…
Three categories that will be voted on: Best Overall, Traditional and Ultimate Griswold
Anyone in the Flagler Beach City Limits can enter to win.
Must have light displays set up and working before Dec. 20th.
To vote on your favorite lights display: leave location address and chosen category in comments on Facebook Event Page or in the subject line to email address: flaglersurf.com@gmail.com.
Only one Christmas Light display per category can win. Winners will be chosen based on votes collected. If you take pictures hash tag your photos #showusyourlights #flaglerbeach
This event is for entertainment and positive fun purposes only. All persons who put up Christmas Lights do not
have to participate and can opt out of people driving by and experiencing great visual enjoyment while voting for
their favorite display. Flagler Surf will not held liable for increasing holiday spirit.
